What stays on your computer

• Mail, calendar, contacts and chat history.
• Mail passwords, stored in the Windows credential store.

What our servers see

Our servers see only:

• The email used to buy.
• The license and its active computers.
• Encrypted envelopes in transit: sender and recipient device keys, size and time.

We never see message content.

Offline messages

Messages for someone who is offline wait on our server, end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them. They are deleted once delivered, or after 30 days at most. Attached files follow the same rule.

No recording

Early Pigeon does not record calls or meetings.

GIF search

GIF searches go through our server to Klipy, a GIF provider. The Klipy key stays on our server; it is not in the app. GIFs you send are kept with the message.
